Pretty In Pink
Well, summer’s gone.
Sorry, I didn’t want to be the one to tell you. I was recently on vacation in Michigan and the day after Labor Day the temperatures dropped into the high 60s. No thank you. While many folks are ready for pumpkin spice lattes and chunky scarves (I am to, trust) I’m just not ready to let go of the bright sunlight and flip flops.
That’s why, this week, I did a pretty pink look to keep the energy of spring and summer around. I used natural light and the makeup I had in my travel bag. The pigment of the products used was so buildable that this is truly a flattering look for any skin tone. The warmth of the pink eyeshadow is offset by an icy shimmer to give the look a neutral bit of pop.
Don’t worry, I’ll be reporting on fall beauty trends and doing a tutorial for those next week.
Keep an eye out!

Quick note on discontinued products:
The Buxom lipstick shade Guilty Angel has been discontinued but a close dupe is the same lipstick in the shade Pink Coquette.
The White Peach palette has been pulled from third-party retailers and reduced on Too Faced’s website - this makes me believe that they are discontinuing it this year. Buy it while you can!
